Using Samba as a File Server, PDC or Domain Client

I have a bunch of presentations I've given to the Greater Hartford GNU/Linux User's Group (GHGLUG) over the past two years; I'm updating them individually and putting them back online.

The first is a presentation on Samba, and how to use it for secure file sharing (as an NFS replacement), as a Windows domain controller, or as a Windows domain client. You can download it here in the original Oo.org or PDF formats, or just check it out online:

Samba Howto - OpenOffice.org
Samba Howto - PDF
Samba Howto - Online Version

The Samba configuration files referenced in the presentation can also be downloaded:

smb.conf (File Server)
smb.conf (Domain Controller)
smb.conf (Domain Member)

Note:The presentations are licensed under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL), so feel free to modify, share or use them for your own user's group tutorials.
